Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jose Field got the match started through his kick off. Marcelo Quijada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Preston Esposito having to interfere. Maurice Yoshioka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Viscarra got free with Preston Esposito in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Quijada ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalie and right to Marcelo Quijada. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 22nd minute, Jerrod Mixon had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Rey Boyles was substituted for Jerrod Mixon. In the 24th minute, Jaime Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darnell Elias to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Field in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Jose Field shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Miguel Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preston Esposito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Quijada's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Preston Esposito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jorge Collado hit a great ball. A collision led to DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rey Boyles hit a great ball. Ricardo Mora hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Davis Stubbs got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Quijada made a kick off. Maurice Yoshioka kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Marcelo Quijada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Preston Esposito. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Eckert in the 57th minute of play. Lawrence Eckert had several of the GuateFortín's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Jose Miguel Marin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jorge Collado hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute Marcelo Quijada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Preston Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darnell Elias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 77 minutes on the clock, Orlando Morales commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 77 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Morales. In the 79th match minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Eckert to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Ricardo Mora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Preston Esposito. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Mora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. GuateFortín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelo Quijada in the 85th minute. GuateFortín's Marcelo Quijada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Preston Esposito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Efren Viscarra kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a little luck, GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin got control of the ball when Rocco Espinosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Viscarra took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Preston Esposito. Preston Esposito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. GuateFortín were victorious despite being under pressure from DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO for much of the match.
