Casimiro Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Esteve Mirande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ulises Bastian made a huge save. Casimiro Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Louis to maneuver through the defense. When AZURDUY F.C.'s Alejo Weterio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diego Eterno's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Artemio Ramone notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Diego Eterno's Casimiro Astrada. Casimiro Astrada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casimiro Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Ramone in the 34th minute of the match. Casimiro Astrada came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by AZURDUY F.C.'s Cipriano Chuan. But to his dismay, Cipriano Chuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rodolfo Cordairo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Cordairo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodolfo Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play Diego Eterno's Rodolfo Cordairo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Diego Eterno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Roque Tome fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Roque Tome a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Chuan to make the kick off. Cristobal Cordero hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Pudes hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Elvio Gorka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Artemio Ramone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Astrada was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Elvio Gorka charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Gorka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Casimiro Astrada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alejo Weterio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Weterio got free with Casimiro Astrada in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Elvio Gorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Chuan to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Bastian came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Diego Eterno's Elvio Gorka. But to his dismay, Elvio Gorka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Elvio Gorka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Bastian. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Bastian should have stopped the shot. If Elvio Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Astrada having to interfere. Casimiro Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Chuan in the 87th minute of play. AZURDUY F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Louis in the 89th minute. Zeledon Sanduru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Bastian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Siro Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Alejo Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AZURDUY F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
