Marcelo Quijada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Veronica came free, but Jose Miguel Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Viscarra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Pes came out and tried to block the shot, but Danilo Viscarra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Marcelo Quijada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rodrigo Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Veronica in the 36th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Jose Miguel Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Miguel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gaufred in the 40th minute of play. Marcelo Quijada's late challenge caught a Caballeritos del Baile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Quijada helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Marcelo Quijada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Eduardo Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Miguel Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Cristos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caballeritos del Baile's Rodrigo Pes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Quijada in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Viscarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Cristos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Quijada in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Quijada came free, but Rodrigo Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Miguel Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Veronica in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Wilber Barragan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes in the game Ceferino Truylos after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Jose Miguel Marin. A very good opportunity. Jose Miguel Marin was a little too slow when Florentino Veronica got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
