Adrián Espadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branislav Velchevski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Espadas's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branislav Velchevski was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Bonifacio Suarez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Max Josef Justice in the 18 minute of the game. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 31st minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hernan Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrián Espadas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, André Monclús managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but André Monclús was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Venceslao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branislav Velchevski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 86th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Răzvan Necula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes in the game, Cosme Jaen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Branislav Velchevski having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Răzvan Necula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Asteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Soroca F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
