After taking down the ball on Tottenham Hotspurs's corner Belmiro da Fonseca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Higinio Aguilera quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Rocha in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damián Martínez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Tottenham Hotspurs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Argi Casta took the corner.
