In the 9th minute, Zacarias Lehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes of play, Atletic Club Araucaria's Leopoldo Cesaro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florencio Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Mats Linqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdul Majid Awat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV defense, Gayle Leto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Cutberto. The SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Cutberto should have stopped the shot. Florencio Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alketas Klanakis in the 26th minute of the match. Florencio Cutberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 37 minutes Atletic Club Araucaria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Olivar who took care of the corner kick. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Felipe Olivar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abdul Majid Awat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ariel Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdul Majid Awat having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Froilan Donostia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdul Majid Awat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 46th minute, Mats Linqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Atletic Club Araucaria's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Linqvist came free, but Abdul Majid Awat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV made a substitution. Dave Signoretti replaced Mats Linqvist. Abdul Majid Awat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Donostia in the 64th minute of the match. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Gilbert Godefroid was substituted for Ariel Bautista. Abdul Majid Awat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Florencio Cutberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdul Majid Awat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Signoretti in the 92nd minute of the match. Abdul Majid Awat came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Froilan Donostia. But to his dismay, Froilan Donostia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Atletic Club Araucaria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
