Lucio Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gayle Leto in the 20th minute of the match. Lucio Ur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gayle Leto in the 25th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Lucio Ur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Ur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen in the 26th minute of play. Lucio Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Cesaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucio Ur. Mustafa Barış Yorangil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdul Majid Awat having to make a save. Atletic Club Araucaria's Abdul Majid Awat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Atletic Club Araucaria from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Atletic Club Araucaria's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Barış Yorangil came free, but Abdul Majid Awat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gayle Leto in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Ur saved C. A. Potrero from getting behind. Abdul Majid Awat came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil. But to his dismay, Mustafa Barış Yorangil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 72 minutes into the match, Atletic Club Araucaria's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Marajda came free, but Abdul Majid Awat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletic Club Araucaria's Abdul Majid Awat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Marajda in the 74th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Atletic Club Araucaria's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Marajda came free, but Abdul Majid Awat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Ur was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
