Sentimiento Auriazul's Luisito Behe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Higinio Aguilera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute of the match Sentimiento Auriazul got a corner. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisito Behe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Sentimiento Auriazul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Stroia should have stopped the shot. Jyrki Sillanpää in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mihail Stroia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Adan Inge was substituted for Abelardo Domenec.
