El Stradivarius's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugenio Bermund in the 20th minute. The corner led El Stradivarius's Eugenio Bermund to fire away a dangerous shot which Florencio Cutberto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Florencio Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Igor Jarmulowicz sent off a good shot on target. Jedrzej Galus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Linqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eugenio Bermund was slow to take the kick. During this time El Stradivarius's players had a chance to rest. In the 40th minute of the game Froilan Donostia made a throw-in which Mats Linqvist played forward. Eugenio Bermund made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Igor Jarmulowicz immediately put the ball in play. Igor Jarmulowicz's late challenge caught a SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Jarmulowicz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV booed when El Stradivarius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Jarmulowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igon Ferrero hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Jarmulowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Igor Jarmulowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute Igor Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Linqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Galus having to interfere. Igor Jarmulowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Jarmulowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Jarmulowicz in the 69th minute of play forced SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Abbagnale kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. El Stradivarius made a substitution. Emilio Rami replaced Igor Jarmulowicz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Signoretti got free with Jedrzej Galus in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The El Stradivarius support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
