In the 11th minute, Dumitru Purcărete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Mónos got free with Glenn Fyfe in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when Marno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Lázaro Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe got control of the ball when Zeledon Victoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Alessandro Del Piero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Cefero in the 32nd minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Asier's late challenge caught a A4p FC Gad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uriel Asier helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Marno F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Asier. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Alessandro Del Piero put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aldo Beltxe. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A4p FC Gad eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
