Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Kissel in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Jankowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Aleksander Kissel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Kissel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Kissel in the 17th minute of play. Witomir Domamir hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Radowit Trzaskoma made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ömür Seyfeddin sent off a good shot on target. If Sebastian Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Guipuzkoa made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Damazy Turok immediately put the ball in play. Aleksander Kissel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Kissel in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Karol Biskupiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Trzaskoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Kissel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Laureano Guipuzkoa with Ömür Seyfeddin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The corner ended in Aleksander Kissel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski did a great save. Fabian Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Aleksander Kissel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Arendarski. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Kissel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode was substituted for Aleksander Kissel. After 89 minutes Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
