Zbyszko Leper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belo Alvarez in the 11th minute of the match. If Manolo Bacete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bacete in the 17th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Manolo Bacete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Leper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Piotr Gorzkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicklas Lindström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Maurino Serena made a huge save. BYDGOSTIA's Dariusz Smuskiewicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bingen Campos, made in the 28th minute of the game. Nicklas Lindström hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Kowalski came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Manolo Bacete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Leper was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olgierd Kowalski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 53rd minute of play. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Kowalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski suffered a concussion in the 60th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 60 minutes, Apolinar Guijarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.D. Alcorcón and the BYDGOSTIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Laurin Mangas replaced Delmar Mayor. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Kowalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Olgierd Kowalski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BYDGOSTIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Kowalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Sebastian Bochynski replaced Patryk Zgonina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 75th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Olgierd Kowalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tytus Paprotny fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BYDGOSTIA's protests and gave Tytus Paprotny a yellow card for diving instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Bacete couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BYDGOSTIA had won after a very even match.
