When Simbo FC's Miliano Sacristán in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Miliano Sacristán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miliano Sacristán. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabri Ravelli was slow to take the kick. During this time Simbo FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Simbo FC's Anselmo Leocadio to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Chile's Pedro Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anselmo Leocadio in the 22 minute of the game. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miliano Sacristán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Miliano Sacristán sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mías Khalifa having to interfere. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Miliano Sacristán could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Thiago Pliego however easily saved by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's Miliano Sacristán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's Pedro Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anselmo Leocadio in the 44 minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo was substituted for Miliano Sacristán. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tincho Palermo was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tincho Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tincho Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Simbo FC made a substitution. Nestor Sancho replaced Boleslaw Sidorowicz. In the 63rd minute Tincho Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Sancho came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Mías Khalifa in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mías Khalifa having to make a save. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mías Khalifa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mías Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Simbo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tincho Palermo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tincho Palermo sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. In the 90th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Mías Khalifa. Simbo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Simbo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Mías Khalifa, making the score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
