Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Fidel Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Sven-Ove Colin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Domínguez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Domínguez AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Galsino Camino hit a great ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Domínguez AFC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Conrao came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Fidel Gaitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute Fidel Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Domínguez AFC had played much better football throughout.
