Julio Vera went to the wrong direction when Oğuzalp Orkutay was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Sezgin Ulutaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Min Alacuart came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute TunaFC were awarded a corner. Oğuzalp Orkutay went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tanel Kallas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ortzi Calzado in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortzi Calzado in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oğuzalp Orkutay was slow to take the kick. During this time TunaFC's players had a chance to rest. TunaFC's Oğuzalp Orkutay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ortzi Calzado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of TunaFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ecuador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
