Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gervasio Chano kicked off to start the match. Jeronimo Millan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sirius Dog's Jeronimo Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Chano. Jeronimo Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sirius Dog's Gervasio Chano. But to his dismay, Gervasio Chano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Gervasio Chano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Gervasio Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Pozo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Sirius Dog's Gervasio Chano made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute, Gervasio Chano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Fontirroig got free with Jeronimo Millan in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Guillermo Fontirroig took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Jeronimo Millan to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the game, Sirius Dog's Gervasio Chano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 67 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's goalkeeper Jeronimo Millan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 70 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's Gervasio Chano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Millan saved Sirius Dog from getting behind. Gervasio Chano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 77 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Jeronimo Millan managed to make a qualified save. Sirius Dog's players were relieved. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sirius Dog's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Guillermo Fontirroig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 80th minute, Gervasio Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sirius Dog fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Gervasio Chano took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jeronimo Millan made a huge save. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeronimo Millan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chile's attentive Gerardo Pozo managed to snatch the ball when Justo Fonda made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Chile's Felix Garrido got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sirius Dog had won after a very even match.
