After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olivier Gilg made a kick off. Chico Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 52nd minute. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Chico Donato to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 87 minutes, Eliézer Alvarenga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIPLOMATA FC PAB and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card.
