Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Greenbay's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Remus came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Mato Špišić in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugen Remus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Remus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Almiron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugen Remus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andre Shakespeare made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Greenbay's Tyler Morton tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Almiron, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. In the 85th minute Vecdi Başesgioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Shakespeare took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 90th minute, Tomas Illescas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eugen Remus, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Greenbay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lu Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Almiron scored 3-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Greenbay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
