The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's Arkadiusz Soszka got a free kick in the 11th minute. Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Mikolaj Orszak kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franciszek Plech. Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Wincent Pietrasz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th match minute, Nojwiynksze Chachary 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Pietrasz to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Franciszek Plech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Nojwiynksze Chachary 04 defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Plech. The Nojwiynksze Chachary 04 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Plech should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play forced Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's goalkeeper Franciszek Plech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Franciszek Plech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Elio Montana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Nojwiynksze Chachary 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Soszka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Franciszek Plech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's goalkeeper Franciszek Plech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Plech having to interfere. If Radomir Kochanowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's Radomir Kochanowicz. But to his dismay, Radomir Kochanowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 81st minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franciszek Plech. Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
