When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Rahim Sidam put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Sidam in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 69thth minute of the game Naim Gencal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Rahim Sidam came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the HORIZZONT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahim Sidam couldn't finish the play. After having played for 75 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. HORIZZONT's Yaşar Akbuğ was substituted for Rahim Sidam. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaşar Akbuğ in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's Yaşar Akbuğ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. HORIZZONT's Naim Gencal suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Venezuela's Jose Correa got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Jose Correa off the ground. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
