Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Henskens in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Herbert Henskens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Henskens in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Herbert Henskens took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Henskens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes in the game, Cristian Sancho dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Loi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erasmo Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Salvadore hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner ended in Patricio Emmanuel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Herbert Henskens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Erasmo Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fernando Gamus made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Gamus in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patricio Emmanuel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Apocalípticos & Caóticos's corner Patricio Emmanuel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Fernando Gamus. But to his dismay, Fernando Gamus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 72nd minute Juan Sebastián Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Fernando Gamus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Erasmo Loi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Austin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Cosme Austin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Austin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Erasmo Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Fernando Gamus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gamus in the 97th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Loi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 98th minute. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
