Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Erasmo Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of the match. Oscar Salvadore hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Dante Brion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apocalípticos & Caóticos and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Erasmo Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Leonardo Leoz with Bautista Elvira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Herbert Henskens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Loi saved Apocalípticos & Caóticos from getting behind. Bautista Elvira scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Loi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Herbert Henskens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Gamus made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute. Macos Graciani made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi managed to reach the ball for a save. 56 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Erasmo Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gamus in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Fernando Gamus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Fernando Gamus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bautista Elvira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Erasmo Loi made a huge save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Gamus in the 71st minute of play. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 76th minute of play. Bautista Elvira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Erasmo Loi made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Erasmo Loi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bautista Elvira got free with Erasmo Loi in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gamus in the 84th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Herbert Henskens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erasmo Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Apocalípticos & Caóticos from getting a goal against them. After 93 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Emmanuel came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erasmo Loi came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gaona slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 97th minute.
