Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Punta Alvear's Epifanio Silvino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Punta Alvear's attentive Moises Rosio managed to snatch the ball when Arturo Carvallo made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. After 5 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby. Jonathan Tabby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Tabby. Punta Alvear's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Francisco Seco sped through Punta Alvear's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Tabby. Jonathan Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Tabby. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Tabby having to interfere. Jonathan Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jonathan Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 29th minute of the match. Jonathan Tabby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punta Alvear's goalie prevented a goal. When Alberto Gisbert came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Gisbert couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby. Jonathan Tabby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jaime Cazalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Tabby. Jonathan Tabby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Jonathan Tabby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Tabby. That made the score 0-10 in the 54 minute of play. The supporters of Punta Alvear booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes, Gilberto Belasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punta Alvear and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Punta Alvear was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Belasko to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Tabby was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Jonathan Tabby made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Jonathan Tabby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. In the 68th minute, Bruno Beldad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Sainz got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Francisco Seco. 71 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Jonathan Tabby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Tabby when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jonathan Tabby made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. Jonathan Tabby came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. With a little luck, Punta Alvear's Jonathan Tabby got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 89th minute of play. With his leg Jonathan Tabby managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 92 minutes of play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert made it 0-16 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Punta Alvear fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
