Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Xerardo Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Fuerzas Armadas got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eufrasio Aranzubia ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 6th minute, Eufrasio Aranzubia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Fuerzas Armadas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Oro Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Quinto Nobo scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Xerardo Amer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play forced Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Oro Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Quinto Nobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oro Montes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Nobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinto Nobo in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Oro Montes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quinto Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. If Xerardo Amer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerardo Amer in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Gaizkine Armada got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xerardo Amer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Oro Montes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fuerzas Armadas's Urbasa Vazquez got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Fuerzas Armadas's Oro Montes got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Amer in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Xerardo Amer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xerardo Amer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Fuerzas Armadas's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oro Montes came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbasa Vazquez hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Xerardo Amer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 86th minute of play forced Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Oro Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4-1 became the score in the 88th minute when Eufrasio Aranzubia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Oro Montes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 96th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
