Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu did a great save. When Ecuador's Luis Andino in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fălciu's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Codruț Ababei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Ivănescu having to interfere. Filip Ivănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Codruț Ababei from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. In the 41st minute of the match Fălciu got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxim Zbârnea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cătălin Caranică kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Maxim Zbârnea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Maxim Zbârnea struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fălciu. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxim Zbârnea to make the kick off. Sabin Comșa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filip Ivănescu having to make a save. Vasile Cârnațiu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Zbârnea in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Sabin Comșa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 92ndth minute of the game Maxim Zbârnea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
