Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Rollheiser came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Sebastião Jacinto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 13th minute, Luan Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olgierd Walczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Olgierd Walczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Olgierd Walczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Olgierd Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Fcion C.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Olgierd Walczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Julian Murillo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Julian Murillo a yellow card for diving instead. Julian Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Rollheiser in the 44th minute of play. Milagros Fraga took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olgierd Walczak. Olgierd Walczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Fcion C.A. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Fcion C.A. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sebastião Jacinto hit a great ball. Olgierd Walczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 72nd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute David Muñoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Muñoz in the 81st minute of play. Olgierd Walczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 83rd minute. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fcion C.A.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Mina was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Emmanuel Reyes made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak managed to reach the ball for a save. Antonio Tenorio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Olgierd Walczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Muñoz in the 93rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Rafael Gallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
