In the 4th minute Joachim Van Der Meren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Joachim Van Der Meren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match, Rolf Huveneers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Huveneers in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for De Keikoppers! In the 24th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. De Keikoppers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Huveneers in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Joachim Van Der Meren notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lionel Van Den Broek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sem De Kelper tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when De Keikoppers's Sem De Kelper fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Huveneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Huveneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Joachim Van Der Meren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Lionel Van Den Broek made a huge save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wout Leroy's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wout Leroy helped the player get up and apologised. Wout Leroy kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Sem De Kelper notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lionel Van Den Broek was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sem De Kelper's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Huveneers in the 81st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sem De Kelper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sem De Kelper in the 86th minute of play. 7-1 became the score in the 89th minute when Rolf Huveneers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomas Illescas scored 7-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lionel Van Den Broek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Van Der Meren in the 95th minute of the match. De Keikoppers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
