Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ünsal Sendur got the match started through his kick off. Ünsal Sendur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jax Williamson came out and tried to block the shot, but Ünsal Sendur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Jan Dixon put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mickaël Maris. In the 10th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Maris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jax Williamson came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ünsal Sendur. But to his dismay, Ünsal Sendur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Koby Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickaël Maris was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Koby Wright was slow to take the kick. During this time Canada's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Maris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jax Williamson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zézinho Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mickaël Maris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nova Iguaçu MZFC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Canada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fábio de Medeiros took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fábio de Medeiros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jax Williamson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ünsal Sendur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Nova Iguaçu MZFC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Canada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fábio de Medeiros took the corner. 40 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred John made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luka Harris. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Harris in the 45th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mickaël Maris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koby Wright to make the kick off. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. 60 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. In the 62nd minute Canada were awarded a corner. Jan Dixon went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Mccarthy during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Mccarthy to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Richard Mccarthy. In the 81st minute, Ünsal Sendur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jax Williamson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Edwards in the 86th minute of play. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Richard Mccarthy with Prince Anderson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ünsal Sendur in the 90th minute of the match. Mickaël Maris made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Luka Harris sent off a good shot on target. Mickaël Maris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Theo Burton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickaël Maris having to interfere. Canada's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Nova Iguaçu MZFC had won, even though Canada had held more of the ball.
