After 11 played minutes Samuel Toussain could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-1 into the left cross. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Siro Rainerio, made in the 14th minute of the game. Samuel Toussain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bogumil Orlicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Toussain in the 21st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 28 in the game by Samuel Toussain from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Cirilo Gaztea hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Samuel Toussain made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Toussain in the 94th minute of play.
