Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Angel went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Conjunto Paisa were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
