In the 14th minute, Duarte Félix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 20th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. MOC ⚽'s Bruno Henrique dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, one of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. Egídio Salgado had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Zé Augusto Secco came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ fans jumped to their feet. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ the free kick. The supporters of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Zé Augusto Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
