Claudio Hermon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Hermon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genaro Cambiasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Marciano Cambiasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Hermon came out of the goal and Andres Cambiasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Cambiasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Hermon having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Vito to make the kick off. Anibal Cambiasso made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Jeronimo Vito sent off a good shot on target. River Ctes's Claudio Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Cambiasso in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, River Ctes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Vito to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Cambiasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Hermon having to interfere. Claudio Hermon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Cambiasso's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, BAIRES's Marciano Cambiasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Hermon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Anibal Cambiasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Vito in the 74th minute of play. If Marciano Cambiasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Hermon didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BAIRES's Marciano Cambiasso shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
