The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes River Ctes got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Txatxu. With an all-out effort, Pinhote FC's Claudio Hermon threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Holger Siöberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to River Ctes getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jeronimo Vito hit a great ball. Pinhote FC's Sílvio Luís Ceresso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Claudio Hermon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Hermon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The nice shot from Holger Siöberg in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Claudio Hermon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Waldemar Rosen notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of River Ctes's Claudio Hermon. Claudio Hermon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Holger Siöberg succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kang Ning Yu got free with Claudio Hermon in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, River Ctes's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Ceresso came free, but Claudio Hermon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Siöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Hermon having to interfere. Holger Siöberg struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Claudio Hermon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote FC. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Holger Siöberg took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Claudio Hermon to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Vito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, River Ctes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Rio to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Tao Tian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Hermon skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the River Ctes defense, Holger Siöberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Hermon. The River Ctes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Hermon should have stopped the shot. Sílvio Luís Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, River Ctes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz da Mata to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, River Ctes's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Siöberg came free, but Claudio Hermon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Holger Siöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. River Ctes's Claudio Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Siöberg in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, River Ctes's Jeronimo Vito got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Sílvio Luís Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pinhote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luís Ceresso couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Luiz da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Ctes and the Pinhote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Luiz da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Sílvio Luís Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Hermon was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Jeronimo Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sílvio Luís Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Hermon was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Claudio Hermon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Joacim First was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Jeronimo Vito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeronimo Vito really showed his touch with that goal: 9-1. Pinhote FC made a substitution. Guo Ming replaced Holger Siöberg. Claudio Hermon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 95th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Guo Ming's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Hermon was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Pinhote FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
