José Augusto Pinho came out of the goal and Gonzalo Chesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Pinho was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Haroldo Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Eriz might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Augusto Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Eriz ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 10 minutes, Gonzalo Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perros del sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Chesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Augusto Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Riquelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. CJ Riquelme scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Augusto Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Eriz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Augusto Pinho having to make a save. Gonzalo Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th minute, Gonzalo Chesus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Augusto Pinho. The goal made the score 2-0. After 23rd play minutes Gonzalo Chesus shot 3-0, a short shot which went by José Augusto Pinho and just under the crossbar into goal. Perros del sur's Gonzalo Chesus was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dionisius Futebol Clube's goalkeeper José Augusto Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonzalo Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CJ Riquelme scored 5-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Augusto Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Perros del sur's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Ferraz came free, but Miguel Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Augusto Pinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute, Gonzalo Chesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perros del sur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When Gonzalo Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Perros del sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Chesus couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Pinho having to interfere. José Augusto Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Riquelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Perros del sur fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Perros del sur's Gonzalo Chesus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Chesus in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Pinho saved Dionisius Futebol Clube from getting behind. Gonzalo Chesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Augusto Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzalo Chesus ran back to his position shaking his head. The Perros del sur fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Perros del sur's Gonzalo Chesus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Aimar in the 87th minute of play forced Dionisius Futebol Clube's goalkeeper José Augusto Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CJ Riquelme came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Perros del sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Riquelme couldn't finish the play. Luiz Paulo Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perros del sur's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
