Anselmo Monteiro started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Monteiro got free with Daugirdas Dikšas in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Damian Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Cantera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Benat came free, but Aquilino Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Changos Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Teodosio Elodio hit a great ball. Anselmo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Daugirdas Dikšas made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Hakkı Türel sent off a good shot on target. Cantera FC's Ambrosio Astera was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daugirdas Dikšas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Cantera FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. David Abar hit a great ball. Damian Navarro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Ambrosio Astera sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Daugirdas Dikšas showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Hakkı Türel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Saturnino Flotow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Benat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Ariando might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Felo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Ariando ran back to his position shaking his head. Cantera FC's Aquilino Felo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cantera FC from getting a goal against them. Daugirdas Dikšas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Türel in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute Severiano Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daugirdas Dikšas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daugirdas Dikšas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Changos Fútbol Club booed when Cantera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cantera FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anselmo Monteiro hit a great ball. Hakkı Türel might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daugirdas Dikšas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hakkı Türel ran back to his position shaking his head. Changos Fútbol Club made a substitution. Eustacio Chago replaced Justino Dayam. In the 77th minute, Daniel Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Cantera FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Franco. Changos Fútbol Club's Angel Joachim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nicanor Restu, made in the 80th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Changos Fútbol Club's Fernan Felipo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Anselmo Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daugirdas Dikšas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Anselmo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daugirdas Dikšas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Monteiro in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daugirdas Dikšas saved Changos Fútbol Club from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Anselmo Monteiro put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Daugirdas Dikšas. After a rather tough play, Cantera FC's Anselmo Monteiro got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 played minutes Cantera FC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Flotow. Aquilino Felo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Benat in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Changos Fútbol Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cantera FC.
