After 15 minutes FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baran Erozan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sliema Dragons FC's corner Baran Erozan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dacian Oravițan quite easily take care of the ball. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Oravițan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The corner led to Sliema Dragons FC's 周斐俊 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 22nd minute, Paul Bădilescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Bolas in the 23rd minute of play forced FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s goalkeeper Dacian Oravițan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Prunaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Oravițan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Barrie Kerridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Di Luca in the 35th minute of the match. Barrie Kerridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Frunză in the 37th minute of play. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Oravițan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Sliema Dragons FC got a corner. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baran Erozan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pepe Ferreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s Dacian Oravițan did a great save. In the 41st minute of the match Sliema Dragons FC got a corner. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baran Erozan ran over to the corner to take the kick. 42 minutes into the match, FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Kim Bolas came free, but Dacian Oravițan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrie Kerridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Di Luca in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Sliema Dragons FC's Fabian Duca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabian Duca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sliema Dragons FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabian Duca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sliema Dragons FC! After some careless play in the Sliema Dragons FC defense, Jacob Rawlings kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barrie Kerridge. The Sliema Dragons FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barrie Kerridge should have stopped the shot.

After 53 played minutes FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Prunaru. Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baran Erozan took the corner. The corner led Sliema Dragons FC's 周斐俊 to fire away a dangerous shot which Dacian Oravițan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s goalkeeper Dacian Oravițan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Gábor Illés got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dacian Oravițan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 62 minutes into the game, Francesco Di Luca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sliema Dragons FC the free kick. A collision led to FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Francesco Di Luca hit a great ball. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dejan Cassar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Cláudio López could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Barrie Kerridge made a huge save. The supporters of FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Matteo Borda. 95 minutes into the match, FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Dejan Cassar came free, but Dacian Oravițan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sliema Dragons FC had won, even though FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- had held more of the ball.
