After taking down the ball on LIVERPOOL FC's corner Kang Guang Chao fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mike Axisa quite easily take care of the ball. LIVERPOOL FC's Qian Ying Lang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save LIVERPOOL FC from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Liviu Rada notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa. Mike Axisa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Kjell Kämpe in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sliema Dragons FC's Gábor Illés. Qian Ying Lang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kim Bolas went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Rada made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sliema Dragons FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kang Guang Chao was slow to take the kick. During this time LIVERPOOL FC's players had a chance to rest. Jurand Wielopolski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Kim Bolas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qian Ying Lang having to make a save. Qian Ying Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Bolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Ying Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liviu Rada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Mike Axisa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Axisa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kang Guang Chao. If Liviu Rada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the game, Kim Bolas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Qian Ying Lang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LIVERPOOL FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kang Guang Chao in the 76th minute. Qian Ying Lang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mike Axisa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qian Ying Lang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, LIVERPOOL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Wielopolski to maneuver through the defense. Dejan Cassar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LIVERPOOL FC's Qian Ying Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dejan Cassar in the 92nd minute of play.
