Nico Valadares came out of the goal and Gonzalo Chesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Perros del sur fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Perros del sur's Sixto Aimar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nico Valadares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonzalo Chesus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 55 minute of play. Nico Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Riquelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the match, CJ Riquelme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nico Valadares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But to his dismay, Sixto Aimar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Gonzalo Chesus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Nico Valadares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gonzalo Chesus in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nico Valadares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 73rd minute, Perros del sur's Gonzalo Chesus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Sixto Aimar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nico Valadares firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 79th minute of the match, Sixto Aimar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nico Valadares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
