With an all-out effort, Sliema Dragons FC's Flavio Gil threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kim Bolas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind lolo Super Club's goalkeeper Flavio Gil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kim Bolas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 48th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

But to his dismay, Dejan Cassar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dejan Cassar in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Gil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Sliema Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sliema Dragons FC had won after a very even match.
