With an all-out effort, Navigators's Cássio de Senna threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Habib Mennan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Claudinho Saldanha's late challenge caught a Navigators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Saldanha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Claudinho Saldanha got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Habib Mennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zekeriya Özakay. Alphan Çırakoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cássio de Senna made a huge save. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Yelesen in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dário Pernambucano during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Pernambucano. Navigators's Şükrü Yelesen got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dário Pernambucano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Alphan Çırakoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Cássio de Senna. Poetass FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zekeriya Özakay got free with Cássio de Senna in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio de Senna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zekeriya Özakay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. If Nizam Acabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Mennan in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Poetass FC defense, Alphan Çırakoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio de Senna. The Poetass FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio de Senna should have stopped the shot. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zekeriya Özakay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Mennan came free, but Cássio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Navigators's Mehmet Halis Işıklı was substituted for Çelik Adal. Navigators made a substitution. Metin Kurt replaced Şükrü Yelesen. After 67 played minutes Navigators got a freekick which was hit by Şükrü Yelesen. After 72 minutes, Metin Kurt made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes of play, Navigators's Zülfü Acunman made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Benjamim Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alphan Çırakoğlu in the 83rd minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Metin Kurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Alphan Çırakoğlu notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna. Cássio de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metin Kurt in the 90th minute of the match. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zekeriya Özakay in the 95th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alphan Çırakoğlu in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Zülfü Acunman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Navigators fully deserved thier win.
