Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Goran Bregović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Rapsodas Red Devils FC from getting a goal against them. Jerome Herlitizius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Burroughs in the 16th minute of the match. Jerome Herlitizius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Figo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Rapsodas Red Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Zigor Vilalta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikolaus Worm in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Goran Bregović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dierk Christidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Rapsodas Red Devils FC's William Burroughs in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalie prevented a goal. William Burroughs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lou Harnack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Bregović having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Dierk Christidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goran Bregović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Abuelo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of VfL Bad Nenndorf booed when Rapsodas Red Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerome Herlitizius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Abuelo in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Figo came free, but Jerome Herlitizius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Goran Bregović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dierk Christidis in the 66th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Gutiérrez to maneuver through the defense. Manuelo Sominaya kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Jacob Nicolin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Goran Bregović skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute Dierk Christidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goran Bregović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
