But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Beckham couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Arthur Guedes notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz. Bernard Fedosz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

Bernard Fedosz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Guedes in the 51st minute. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beto Martini MZ 20 years's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time Vila Industrial FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalie and right to Marcus Piper. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Arthur Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernard Fedosz was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Arthur Guedes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arthur Guedes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-7. After 75 played minutes Beto Martini MZ 20 years got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Qian Xu. 76 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's David Beckham broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 80 minutes into the game, Pang Yang Yong lined in a short shot 3-8 behind a frustrated Bernard Fedosz. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Guedes in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Arthur Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Bernard Fedosz. The Vila Industrial FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vila Industrial FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
