After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Hans Kellbom got a free kick in the 11th minute. DIF LEEDS BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Carlos Alberto Chaves scored to the left of an out of position Vidar Walroth, making the score, 1-0. Vidar Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Viana in the 23rd minute of play. Vidar Walroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Viana went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Kellbom in the 29th minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Rafael Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Holger Lidström put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Pirani. In the 40th minute of the match, Rafael Cavalcante got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vidar Walroth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

DIF LEEDS BK's Vidar Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Viana in the 53rd minute of play. Vidar Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Schmidt in the 55th minute of the match. Vidar Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Kellbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Rafael Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Rafael Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Industrial FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Falcão Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vila Industrial FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
