Nascente do Leça's Frederico Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Erokay in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Navigators booed when Nascente do Leça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almiro Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Nascente do Leça's goalkeeper Frederico Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakut Kudret. Frederico Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakut Kudret in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Navigators booed when Nascente do Leça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veríssimo Macieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Rıfat Tümkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Navigators's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nascente do Leça the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. Navigators's Abdulkadir Cihanmert was substituted for Çelik Adal. Teodoro Miranda's late challenge caught a Navigators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. Timóteo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yakut Kudret in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Navigators getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Habib Mennan hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Sefa Zeyyat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navigators's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sefa Zeyyat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes, Ricardo Morais made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Navigators's Hayati Işık tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 72nd minute of the match Rıfat Tümkan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. In the 92nd match minute, Navigators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Mennan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Navigators's Hayati Işık got control of the ball when Duarte Macieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Metin Kurt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navigators's supporters rose to their feet, but Metin Kurt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nascente do Leça players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Navigators.
