With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vidar Walroth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ingvar Nordkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vidar Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fazıl Özgenalp in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Fazıl Özgenalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Collier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennie Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Österberg in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute DIF LEEDS BK were awarded a corner. Tobias Åhman went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tobias Åhman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lennie Rusby quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kevin Byrne hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vidar Walroth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Tobias Åhman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIF LEEDS BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heavenly Hooters the free kick. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. DIF LEEDS BK's Vidar Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fazıl Özgenalp in the 38th minute of play. Fazıl Özgenalp scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vidar Walroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Heavenly Hooters were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Lundström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Özgenalp in the 53rd minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Vidar Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidar Walroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute Shane Beesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
