Américo Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidar Walroth having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Almiro Peixoto during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Almiro Peixoto hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Niclas Österberg sped through Nascente do Leça's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frederico Domingues. Américo Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidar Walroth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Américo Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. Niclas Österberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Frederico Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Nascente do Leça got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Tinoco. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Niclas Österberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Niclas Österberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Américo Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vidar Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Leme in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Leme in the 38th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Vidar Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Leme in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vidar Walroth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vidar Walroth was a little too slow when Américo Leme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Niclas Österberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Frederico Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niclas Österberg was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Paulo Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nascente do Leça's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIF LEEDS BK the free kick. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nascente do Leça! Tobias Åhman did an outstanding performance 53 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Frederico Domingues in the goal. Almiro Peixoto scored 2-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vidar Walroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niclas Österberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Frederico Domingues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Leme in the 66th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Vidar Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Américo Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nascente do Leça's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niclas Österberg hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Leme came free, but Vidar Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Niclas Österberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nascente do Leça's Frederico Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Leme came free, but Vidar Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Américo Leme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vidar Walroth. DIF LEEDS BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Leme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Almiro Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nascente do Leça had won after a very even match.
