With an all-out effort, Urbs LC's Amílton Paraíba threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damiano Taraborrelli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amílton Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Taraborrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Ernani Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Mascia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Poetass FC's protests and gave Cafu Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Zonta. Amílton Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lucio Mujesan sent off a good shot on target.

Urbs LC made a substitution. Amerigo Maestri replaced Aurelio Pascucci. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Mujesan to make the kick off. Lucio Mujesan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Paraíba having to interfere. Amílton Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Urbs LC fully deserved thier win.
