Vidar Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chuttur Lønge in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Lidström came free, but Bernard Fedosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Lidström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bernard Fedosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vidar Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuttur Lønge, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes, Jochen Gijselinx made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DIF LEEDS BK's Vidar Walroth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. Jochen Gijselinx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vidar Walroth. DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernard Fedosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Tolsson in the 25th minute of play. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Åhman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vidar Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chuttur Lønge in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Sanches in the 33rd minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Vidar Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After some careless play in the Beto Martini MZ 20 years defense, Holger Lidström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Fedosz. The Beto Martini MZ 20 years fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Fedosz should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernt Bållström during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
