With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique de Lima in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Donzela de Ferro FBPA getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rafa Queirós hit a great ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Gilvan Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Donzela de Ferro FBPA getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jeronimo Peru hit a great ball. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Germano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Germano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's César de Souza got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique de Lima in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Germano quite easily take care of the ball. Primitivo Andino made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Donzela de Ferro FBPA from getting a goal against them. César de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Henrique de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Donzela de Ferro FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique de Lima couldn't finish the play. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Víktor Peres was substituted for Henrique de Lima. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Carlos Germano in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
