With his leg Ricardo Zorita managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Tabajara FC's Luiz Eduardo Sabóia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25thth minute of the game Moises Fernandino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabajara FC's Doriva Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Bento got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho de Souza in the 53rd minute of play. Doriva Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 61st minute. In the 69th minute, Marcinho de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tabajara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Tabajara FC's Rafa Melo got a free kick in the 72nd minute.
